In Indonesia, the name Pantech long gone. But in America, these manufacturers still continue to deliver new products. One of them was already released Pantech Laser since mid-October through the network of AT & T. Prices are set is about $ 99.99 USD for 2-year contract package.

Laser super slim body (only 9.95mm) storing the keyboard sliding behind AMOLED touch screen measuring 3.1 inches. In addition to the purposes of navigation, the screen supports Drawing features Commander, where we can run applications quickly enough by way of ‘drawing’ a simple form on the screen. Another feature is the threaded text messaging, video sharing that allows the transfer process and share images in the middle of a phone conversation, and 3MP camera that supports various social networking services. Last but not least, is support for various AT & T service applications, including synchronization of contacts to an online address book, GPS navigation maps and guides, as well as ease of photo and video.

Bold Family members get an extra one again: Blackberry Bold 9780. Still rely on keyboard and optical trackpad, the Bold 9780 has directly armed with a Blackberry 6. This new operating system has many advantages and feature improvements over its predecessors, such as webkit based browser, messaging integration with social networking and RSS feeds (called the Social Feeds), and integrated access to the BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and various instant messaging services. There is also support for YouTube service and a global search feature called Universal Search.

Samsung Galaxy Tab – The iPad Contender?

The release of Apple iPad made birth of the new PC tablet era. Many companies start to join the wagon, including Samsung with their first Android-powered tablet called Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000). Officially announced at the IFA 2010, the lightweight Samsung Galaxy Tab will be powered by a 1 GHz processor, a 512MB of main memory, a 4000mAh battery, and Android 2.2 OS. Features include a 7-inch TFT LCD with WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600), an integrated 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1.3-megapixel secondary front camera for video telephony, WiFI 802.11n support, Bluetooth 3.0 support, Swype, Flash 10.1 support, and microSD card slot for external storage (up to 32GB supported). Interestingly, you can also use the device as a phone once you connect pair it with a Bluetooth headset. Nice!

Samsung Galaxy Apollo Shown Off

Samsung seems to be very proud with their Android-based cell phone’s sales now that they begin to create more and more of them. One of the latest, being shown off during IFA 2010, is this Corby-style Samsung Galaxy Apollo a.k.a GT-i5510. Since it’s not officially announced yet, detailed info is still limited. Regarding features, Galaxy Apollo will be packed with Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, a large touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keypard, a 1 GHz processor, an integrated 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity. It is scheduled to hit Germany later this October via Vodafone and the rest of Europe follow short after, but no price tag has been confirmed. Picture after the jump.

Samsung Nori F (SHW-A200) Announced

Samsung Nori F a.k.a Samsung SHW-A200 cell phone is the successor of Samsung Nori — announced earlier last month. Available only in Korea, this phone sports a 2.8-inch WQVGA display with 240 x 400 resolution, 3G support, T-DMB, dual camera (3-megapixel in the back and 1.3 megapixel in the front for video telephony purpose), Bluetooth, and microSD card slot for external storage (up to 16GB supported). Retailed with a price tag of 500,000 Won (about $425), again, in Korea only, the handset also boasts a nice LED illumination on the front side which can be customized as per user references, clearly aim toward young, teen phone market.

AT&T Released LG Encore

AT&T has just launched LG’s new HSDPA-enabled cellphone, LG Encore. Pre-loaded with AT&T’s SocialNet software, the phone offers quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 850/1900Mhz 3G / HSDPA network support, integrated aGPS navigation module, a 3-inch touchscreen display, accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP support, a 3.5mm audio jack, an integrated 3 megapixel camera with video recording capability, and 32GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for additional disk space (up to 16GB supported). It also comes with a nice media player that has radio streaming function and certified Dolby Mobile playback for enhanced sound quality. Not sure how much this shiny black handset is retailed.

Acer Stream – High-End Android Multimedia Smartphone

Recently released in UK last month, Acer Stream is one of the latest Android-based smartphone by Acer. Powered by a 1GHZ Qualcomm SnapDragon processor and a 512MB of RAM, this Android 2.1 (Eclair) device offers an integrated 5 megapixel camera module with 720p HD video recorder and photo geotagging, a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, Bluetooth 3.0 support, 802.11 b/g/n support, integrated GPS, HDMI output, Dolby Mobile sound technology, UPnP technology, (for sharing content with other devices) and DLNA compliance, a 2GB of flash storage, and microSD card slot (up to 32GB supported) — all for $615 (£399). T-Mobile G2, Yet Another Android Phone

The next generation of highly populer G1 will soon surface the earth. Possibly retail with a price tag of $199.99 for a 2-year contract, the T-Mobile G2 features Android 2.2 (a.k.a Froyo) OS, Flash 10.1, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a large touchscreen like its older brother. An 800 Mhz processor will take charge on its powerhouse, while HSPA+ support will promise a fast and smooth web browsing experience. Access to Android Market is opened as well.

Motorola Milestone 2 Officially Announced

Motorola has just announced Milestone 2, the successor of the popular Android-based cell phone, Milestone. Comes similar as its predecessor, except for the improved QWERTY keyboard design, Milestone 2 features a 1 GHz processor with 802.11n support, a 3.7-inch touchscreen with 854 x 480 resolution and multi-touch capabilities; a 5MP camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video capture and playback, Bluetooth 2.1, DLNA, WiFI, and up to 40GB of internal memory. Powered by Android 2.2, the phone also offers two nice functionalities, as a 3G mobile hotspot that can connect up to five other WiFI devices, and built-in Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for playing Flash video.
